Freeway A3

From March 6, around 10:00 p.m., until probably March 9, around 5:00 a.m., the Frauenaurach exit in the direction of Nuremberg will be closed.

As part of the work for the six-lane expansion of the A 3 freeway, the Frauenaurach junction will be rebuilt and adapted to the new geometry of the freeway. For this reason, the Erlangen-Frauenaurach exit in the direction of Nuremberg will be closed from Friday, March 6 (10:00 p.m.) until probably Monday, March 9 (5:00 a.m.). This was announced by A3 Nordbayern GmbH & Co KG.

Detour set up

Road users traveling in the direction of Nuremberg who want to leave the freeway at the Erlangen-Frauenaurach junction are asked to continue their journey to the Fürth/Erlangen junction. There they leave the highway in the direction of Bamberg and then immediately rejoin the A3 in the direction of Würzburg.

In the direction of Würzburg, the exit at the Erlangen-Frauenaurach junction is available without restriction.
