A3 Highway (underpass)

The highway underpass between Häusling and Haundorf ("Löchla") will remain closed through Friday, July 3. It was originally scheduled to be closed through Friday, June 26. The closure is due to work being done as part of the highway expansion project. A detour has been set up.

The detour toward Haundorf follows the yellow-signposted U1 detour via Frauenaurach. The detour toward Häusling follows the yellow-signposted U2 detour via Frauenaurach.

The closure is due to construction work on the six-lane expansion of the A3 highway between the Biebelried and Fürth/Erlangen interchanges. There, the structure that carries the ERH3 county road / ER1 city road between Haundorf and Häusling under the highway has been rebuilt. In the next phase of construction, the Häuslinger Straße underpass in the area of the structure will be renovated.
