Refugee and integration counseling

Our advice service is free of charge and is available to all asylum seekers and migrants (usually in the first three years after their arrival) from both EU and non-EU countries. In difficult life situations, advice and assistance is also available for immigrants who have been living in Germany for some time.

We inform, advise and support immigrants with regard to their everyday needs. The aim is to enable people to become independent and find their way around Erlangen.

We provide advice on issues such as the content and course of the asylum procedure, social and residence law issues, family reunification, return and onward migration. We offer guidance and information on various areas of life, such as education, work, health, leisure, etc.

We provide support in contacting authorities and offices, in arranging language and integration courses, in kindergarten and school enrollment, etc.

If required, advice can be given in the respective native language. Our team speaks: English, Greek, Turkish, Arabic, Russian, Ukrainian.

We advise all people regardless of age, religion, gender, sexual orientation or nationality. We are bound to confidentiality and observe data protection.
