The Commissioner for Equal Opportunities in the Labour Market (BCA) has the legal mandate in SGBII to inform and advise Jobcenter customers, employers and employee and employer organizations on the following topics:
- Equality of women and men in the labor market
- Promotion of women
- Compatibility of family and career for both genders
- Professional re-entry
The BCA advises and supports managers and specialists at the Jobcenter on issues relating to the advancement of women, represents the Jobcenter in committees, participates in the local labor market program and in conceptual tasks. It works locally with the agencies responsible for equal opportunities in working life and cooperates as a network partner with various municipal and public institutions, as well as other initiatives and projects in the region. One of the main target groups is single parents.
