Your tasks:
- Data collection, evaluation and analysis, development of a coordinated reporting system with regard to management-relevant and budget-related priorities as well as monitoring and evaluation in the sense of primarily decentralized, and in some cases centralized, controlling
- Development of a reporting system for the relevant product areas of the social service in order to identify trends, patterns and potential for improvement
- Preparation of decision-making processes as well as monitoring and analysis of expenses and income for youth welfare services provided by the social services department
- Developing and assisting with the introduction of budget and control-related processes and participating in the Social Services budget planning process
- Drafting committee and city council documents and preparing political decisions, managing and leading events
Your profile:
- Career qualification for the third qualification level of the "Administration and Finance" career path or successfully completed Employee Training Course II (BL II) or a degree (Bachelor or Diploma) in the field of business administration or social sciences
- Several years of professional experience in public youth welfare, social administration or treasury, preferably in the field of financial controlling or with insight into budgeting/budget planning, is an advantage
- Sound knowledge of the following areas of law is desirable: SGB VIII, IX, X, I and KommHV-D, GO
- Affinity for working with figures and data as well as knowledge in the use of common controlling software
- Ability to work conceptually and to act independently and responsibly
- Ability to grasp complex interrelationships and develop differentiated solution strategies
