Work out in the exercise area
The offer has just ended. Further dates will follow.
What is it?
Exercise is fun and keeps us healthy! In the exercise area, children can jump, climb and play under the guidance of trainers. The focus is on the joy of movement. The offer is free of charge. Anyone can come along without registering.
Who is it for?
The program is aimed at children aged 4 to 10 years. Exceptions apply for siblings so that they can take part together. For 4- & 5-year-old children, a parent must accompany the child to the activity area. Children aged 6 and over may enter the activity area unaccompanied.
When?
Further dates will follow.
How?
For safety reasons, a maximum of 15 children can explore the movement landscape at the same time under the guidance of trainers. So that as many children as possible can take part, there is a change of participants every 30 minutes or every half and full hour. Please note that there may be waiting times depending on how busy it is. If there are still places available, it is also possible to queue several times.
What do I need to bring?
Comfortable casual clothing is recommended. Sharp-edged items of clothing, such as belts or sequins, should be avoided.
You must bring non-slip socks, otherwise you will not be able to take part! Socks can no longer be borrowed.
A completed and signed declaration of consent from the parents is required. This can be downloaded from the website www.sport-gesundheit-erlangen.de under News/ Fun and exercise: Exercising in the Movement Landscape, filled out, signed and brought along. There are also printed consent forms available on site.
Where?
Gerd-Lohwasser-Halle, Hartmannstraße 114, 91058 Erlangen
Free training to become a supervisor in the movement landscape
Would you like to be the reason for lots of children's smiles? Then volunteering in the exercise area at the Gerd-Lohwasser-Halle is just the thing for you!
On April 12, 2025, the popular exercise program "Fun and exercise: Work out in the exercise landscape". In order to continue the open offer, we need your voluntary commitment!
Our aim is to be able to offer "open hours" in the exercise area for children in the long term. For this, we need helpers for two activities:
- Supervision and instruction in the movement landscape
- Organization before the movement landscape: welcoming parents and children, dividing up groups, filing consent forms, explaining the procedure and being available to answer questions.
Prerequisites for volunteering are an extended certificate of good conduct and enjoyment of working with people, especially children. If a certificate of good conduct is required to carry out voluntary work for a public authority, there is no fee.
For all those interested in volunteering as a supervisor in the movement landscape, a free training course is offered (sponsored by the Techniker Krankenkasse). The training is carried out by the provider "medi train". At the end of the training, all participants receive a certificate of participation.
