Grab your sneakers, leave your weaker self on the couch and join us in making Erlangen a little MORE MOVING. Current dates and changes can be found in the event calendar and at the bottom of this website. No registration required , please bring a towel or sports mat if possible.

Full body workout

A colourful mix of mobilization and strengthening with small equipment at light to medium intensity. Perfect for starting out after a long break from training or if you are looking for a moderate workout.

With this functional training, you work comprehensively on your endurance, strength and coordination at medium to high intensity. This will get you fit for all your summer adventures. The course also offers supervised games for children - families are very welcome.

Sportbox - Stay fit in everyday life!

Free strength, endurance and coordination training with high-quality materials from the Sportbox. Move according to your level and stay fit for your everyday life. The motivated trainer Lisa has the right exercise for everyone. Whether it's squats, jumping rope or back training. Every part of the body is moved and there's also a portion of fresh air. Take your mind off things, get some exercise in your everyday life and start your week in the great outdoors.

Free strength training

Strength training strengthens your muscles on the strength equipment on the fitness trail. The weights can be adjusted according to your own strength and fitness level. This means that anyone and everyone can take part in the training and discover the world of weight training step by step. Targeted strength training can reduce back pain or knee pain, for example, and even make you completely pain-free! Work out in the exercise area

From mid-October to mid-December, the exercise area in the Gerd-Lohwasser-Halle is open every Saturday free of charge.


Brief description:

Do your children need to really burn off some energy? They have the opportunity to do so in the exercise area in the Gerd-Lohwasser-Halle. They will experience the fun of movement through various exercise games. Led by trained instructors, children aged 4-10 are welcome to jump, climb and explore.


Important information:

From 19.10 - 14.12.2024, the exercise area in the Gerd-Lohwasser-Halle will be available free of charge for children aged 4-10 every Saturday between 1pm and 5pm. A new group starts every 30 minutes. One group contains 15 children who can explore the exercise area at the same time under the supervision of the exercise leader. The next 15 children then take their turn. Due to the 30-minute time slot, waiting times may occur depending on the number of children. Multiple queues are possible.

Please note: 4-6-year-old children may only enter the activity area if accompanied by a parent.

What do you need to bring?

Comfortable casual sportswear is recommended. If possible, bring non-slip socks. If necessary, these can also be borrowed on site. A declaration of consent from parents is also required. This can be obtained in advance by sending a short email to sportamt@stadt.erlangen.de or completed on site.

Each child needs a completed parental consent form and, if possible, a pair of non-slip socks. 4-6 year old children need an accompanying parent.

Where can I get the consent form?

The consent form can be requested in advance by sending a short e-mail to: sportamt@stadt.erlangen.de. Please print it out and bring it with you. There are also printed consent forms available on site.

Do parents have to accompany their child to the activity area?

For children aged 4-6, one parent must accompany the child to the activity area. Children aged 6 and over may enter the activity area unaccompanied.
