Erlangen is on the move!
Free and no registration required.
The “ Erlangen Moves!” fitness campaign is aimed at all residents of the city of Erlangen. It offers many different ways to get active together— free of charge and without registration. These include, among others, the activities offered by “Der bewegte Stadtteil, ” the “Erlangen Moves!” courses, the 1,000-Point Program, and the exercise programs from “Gäwin, ” such as “Spaziergang plus.” The goal of the campaign is to incorporate more physical activity into everyday life—for better health, a greater zest for life, and a stronger sense of community.
Some programs, such as the 1,000-Point Program or GÄWIN’s health and exercise programs, take place year-round. Others run during specific time periods—for example, the summer and winter programs of “Erlangen bewegt!” or “Der bewegte Stadtteil.” This means there are plenty of opportunities to get active all year round.
The “Erlangen bewegt!” winter program starts in early October and runs through the end of March.
You can find the latest dates and times in the City of Erlangen’s event calendar —or on the website of the Office for Sports and Health Promotion, “Erlangen bewegt!”—Sports and Health.
It may take a moment for the weekly tips to load in the event calendar. Please be patient and refresh the page if necessary.
