Your Responsibilities:

  • Performing tree care measures to ensure traffic safety and preserve the tree population, including the use of aerial lifts or rope access techniques
  • Periodic assessment of a tree’s vitality and growth potential
  • Inspections using aerial lifts to check for woodpecker holes, rot, crown stability, and diseases
  • Remedial measures for damage to trees, their surroundings, and the root zone
  • Ensuring the computer-supported flow of information within the department, providing support to companies and experts (e.g., construction site briefings), and accepting the services rendered
  • Assistance with winter maintenance as needed

Your Profile:

  • Completed, recognized three-year vocational training as a forester, gardener specializing in horticulture and landscaping, or comparable training
  • Class B driver’s license (please include proof)
  • A Class C driver’s license is desirable (please include proof)
  • Completion of advanced training as a European Tree Worker, European Tree Technician, or as an FLL-certified tree inspector—or a willingness to complete the relevant training—as well as participation in the AS-Baum I & II courses, RSA training, and rope climbing technique courses (please include proof)
  • Willingness to work outside of regular business hours when necessary
