Your Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of roads, sidewalks, and bike paths
- Laying pavers and performing asphalt work; installing drainage systems
- Setting up and securing construction sites
- Operating small construction machinery and equipment
- Trimming hedges and shrubs
- On-call duty and winter road maintenance
Your Profile:
- Completed vocational training as a road builder, road maintenance worker, mason, concrete and reinforced concrete worker, or a completed three-year vocational training program in a construction trade with relevant work experience in the field
- Class B driver’s license (please include proof); a Class BE, CE, or C1E driver’s license is preferred
- Several years of relevant professional experience in the field is desirable
- Full physical stamina and confidence when working in road traffic environments
- Reliability, flexibility, and the ability to work well in a team
- Willingness to participate in winter road maintenance and to work outside of regular business hours
