Trip to Jena on October 3

The city of Erlangen is once again organizing a day trip by coach to its sister city this year. There, residents will once again celebrate German Unity Day together. Registration is now open.
After light refreshments and an official welcome at the Volkshaus by the mayors of both cities, an interactive program awaits the participants. The day’s musical entertainment will be provided, among others, by the accordion ensemble of the Erlangen Municipal School of Singing and Music.
Starting at noon, there will be time for individual activities, such as
- taking a free guided city tour
- taking part in the now legendary pub quiz with “BigKev”
- attending the concert by the Erlangen Accordion Ensemble
- simply meeting up with friends and acquaintances.
Following an ecumenical service at the Stadtkirche, everyone is once again invited to join in a farewell sing-along. The return trip is scheduled for around 6:30 p.m.
Information about the bus trip
The trip price of 29 euros includes
- the bus ride
- a welcome snack in Jena
- free activities on site
- a light snack for the return trip.
Departure is at 7:45 a.m. from the Erlangen bus station. The trip will be nonstop. All buses are equipped with restrooms. The registration deadline is Friday, September 4, provided seats are still available. Seats will be assigned based on the order in which registrations are received and the travel fee is paid by the deadline.
