Gebbertstraße: work on district heating and new road surface

A series of construction works will be carried out on Gebbertstraße from Monday, May 5. This will involve a closure to through traffic between Henkestrasse and Schenkstrasse until probably Monday, September 15. The work is a joint project with Erlanger Stadtwerke. They are carrying out necessary work on the district heating pipeline in several places. Gebbertstraße will then be resurfaced over a length of more than 600 meters.

Several restrictions

• Detour for through traffic will be signposted.
• Bus services will also be diverted.
• In the immediate construction site areas, residents will only have limited access via the side streets.
• One-way street regulations will be lifted if necessary.
• Emergency footpaths will be set up in sections where work is also being carried out on footpaths and cycle paths.
