About the facility

Our facility is located in the heart of Erlangen's old town, in the immediate vicinity of the Margrave Theater and the Botanical Gardens.

Children from up to 16 different nations live, play and learn in our children's home. This gives us the opportunity to learn a lot from each other and gives us an insight into the traditions of other cultures.

Following the demolition of the old building (formerly the Margrave's stables), we were able to move into our new building with its optimized room program and newly designed outdoor area in November 2012. Each group has a spacious and light-flooded group room as well as an adjoining room for additional educational activities.

Our pedagogical focus is on language education with the "German Offensive" program and the children's experience of the environment and nature, for example during visits to the botanical garden.
