Your Responsibilities:
- Design and construction planning for large-scale and special projects (e.g., bike expressways, Regnitzstadt, etc.)
- Construction management services for projects with high to very high traffic engineering requirements or in difficult to very difficult urban planning situations
- Construction administration, particularly reviewing connection elevations and coordinating with road planning, providing opinions on land acquisition, and providing opinions on utility line relocation in accordance with the Telecommunications Act (TKG)
- Coordination meetings with all utility providers involved in the construction projects, as well as participation in and execution of implementation contracts and other agreements
Your Profile:
- A completed degree as a Diplom-Ingenieur*in (FH) or Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or career qualification at the third qualification level in the “Natural Sciences and Technology” professional track, specialization in civil engineering and environmental administration, with a focus on road and civil engineering and traffic management
- Class B driver’s license (please include proof)
- Knowledge of contract and fee law (VOB / HOAI)
- Several years of professional experience in the areas of new construction and renovation of traffic infrastructure is desirable, ideally in public administration
- Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, problem-solving skills
- Good computer skills and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), as well as a willingness to learn how to use specialized software (e.g., CAD, GeoVision, QGIS, iTWO)
