Jobcenter: Project LAUT - Living, Working and Participating
Stand: 28.05.2024
LAUT is ideal for you if you are long-term unemployed and have special needs. With LAUT, you can try things out at your own pace and together we can see where your professional journey will take you for a successful life.
LAUTstark for inclusion
Since November 2019, the "LAUT - Living, Working and Participating in an Inclusive Society" project has aimed to provide new, sustainably effective impetus to support and strengthen existing measures to promote jobseekers with significant health restrictions, including severely disabled people with special placement needs.
Citizens who are long-term unemployed under SGB II can get involved in our LAUT project. It all starts with a visit to the job center. In a personal meeting, the possibilities for participating in the LAUT project are discussed. After that, things get underway. This is followed by an approx. 3-month coaching phase with our partner Access, during which we explore what the participant can achieve, where they want to go and what goals and wishes they associate with LAUT. This coaching phase is followed by a phase of at least 6 months of work testing or daily structural measures at one of our cooperation partners Regnitzwerkstätten, Laufer Mühle and Wabe e.V. or on the primary labor market. After these stabilization measures, the goals are reviewed again and it is explored how the participant's path can be continued.
LAUT not only looks after the participants in the LAUT program, but also includes other modules such as PEER support, job carving and employer support. Feel free to contact us!
What is also special about LAUT is that we have two academic mentors who use anonymized data collection to generate objectives for long-term establishment and help for the long-term unemployed.

Questions and answers
LAUT is for people within the scope of SGB II, the long-term unemployed, who have health restrictions.
It all starts with the cooperation plan at the job center. Then it's time to get started. With an individual coach, you will work out goals and wishes for your future with our external inclusion specialist service. After 3 months at the latest, this is followed by a daily structural measure, if necessary and in any case a work trial in one of our partner social enterprises or at a company. This lasts up to 6 months. In the best case scenario, this is followed by a permanent job or at least an internship that can lead to a permanent job. Sometimes, however, we realize together with the participant that other/further measures are necessary. Our goal is stabilization and support for better participation.
How often you meet is as individual as each person is. This is the great strength of the LAUT model project. Together with your coach, you determine how often you meet and this can also change during the course of the program, depending on your personal development.
The first step is to go to the job center. Ideally, you will already have a permanent contact person here with whom you can discuss your personal LAUT path and set it out in a cooperation plan.
LAUT's primary goal is inclusion. As experts on this topic, we not only support participants, but also take a lot of time for employers. Not only do we offer events for employers and are always on hand with help and advice. We are also the first point of contact for all questions relating to the participants, not only during the LAUT project, but also beyond.
If you would like to offer an inclusive workplace, you are welcome to contact our external inclusion specialist service ACCESS on 09131-897-444. You can also do this via our website.
