The closure is due to the final phase of construction in the “Housing Area.” The goal is to

• significantly improve traffic flow and the quality of the environment—especially for road users—and
• to significantly improve the living environment for residents

Access to Properties

Access to building entrances, private parking spaces, and so on will be ensured to the greatest extent possible. To this end, the road construction work will be divided into two phases. In mid-August, work will move into the second phase with a full closure, as before. For access to the GEWOBAU parking garage, there will be a temporary entrance and exit onto Hartmannstraße. Other detour traffic for residents and local residents will be routed via Schenkstraße, which has already been completed. For pedestrians and cyclists, detours or temporary arrangements will be set up as needed.
