The closure is due to the final phase of construction in the “Housing Area.” The goal is to

• significantly improve traffic flow and the quality of the environment—especially for road users—and
• to significantly improve the living environment for residents

. The closure was scheduled to last until November 27.

Access to Properties

Access to building entrances, private parking spaces, and so on will be ensured to the greatest extent possible. To this end, the roadwork will be divided into two construction phases. In mid-August, the project will move into the second construction phase with a full closure, as before. For access to the GEWOBAU parking garage, there will be a temporary entrance and exit onto Hartmannstraße. Other detour traffic for residents and nearby residents will be routed via Schenkstraße, which has already been completed. Detours or temporary arrangements will be set up for pedestrians and cyclists as needed.
