The integrative primary school nursery is a daycare facility for children of primary and/or secondary school age.
The municipal learning rooms offer children and young people and their families holistic education, individual support and integration as well as advice on special challenges and questions.
The facility has space for a total of 30 children and offers up to six places for individual integration in accordance with §35a SGB VIII and §99 SGB IX. The staff of the facility consists of a facility manager, a deputy manager and three specialists.
The integrative primary school nursery is located in the Anger district and is part of the family support center located in this district. It looks after children from the Pestalozzi School (Sprengelschule) and the Otfried-Preußler-Schule support center in Liegnitzerstraße.
A special feature of the integrative primary school nursery at Hertleinstraße 22-24 is that it is housed in a GEWOBAU residential complex. This means that the facility is close to the children's and families' homes and living environment.
The learning room is located on the first floor. There are two groups. Each group has a group room which is used for lunch, homework and various activities and table games. There are also other adjoining rooms that are used for homework, role play, playrooms, etc. etc.
The facility also has a workroom, which the children enjoy using.
In the building of the neighboring facilities of the integrative youth learning room and OJSA, we use the hall for exercise activities. A small adjoining outdoor area on this site can also be used. The Lernstube also has access to the public meadow behind the building and we regularly visit the nearby adventure playground.
Our pedagogical approach is characterized by acceptance and empathy.
This unprejudiced attitude is reflected in the acceptance of every child and their family with all their resources.
We see a group as a gathering of individuals. Everyone is allowed to be who they are. The freedom of the individual ends where the boundary of the other begins.
The children take center stage and the focus of our work is on building relationships with the children. A structured daily routine, learning room traditions, clear rules and consistent action give the children a sense of security.
We practise participation and teach the children how to actively help shape the day in line with our democratic principles.
