There are around 130 daycare centers in Erlangen. They are run by the city of Erlangen and over 40 different independent and non-profit providers. With the "Kitafinder", the City Youth Welfare Office provides a cross-provider online portal to optimize the search for places, registration, allocation and administration of childcare places.
