20th fruit and berry garden

Kosbach, the highway bridge was relocated. The area (approx. 400 square meters) of the old freeway bridge, where many old trees were previously felled, is currently free. Citizens and young people are being encouraged to plant a fruit and berry garden here.

Response from the Department of Sport, Health, Fire and Civil Protection:
In response to the request, we can inform you that the green space will be restored as part of a planning approval procedure by the highway.
The plan is to plant the embankment with native shrubs and create a succession area at the foot of the embankment, including subsequent vegetation management.
Whether or which changes are still possible in this regard still needs to be clarified with Autobahn GmbH.
We have therefore already made enquiries with the responsible authorities, particularly regarding the timetable, and are still waiting for an answer. We will be happy to inform you as soon as we find out more.
However, we ask for your understanding that the Stadtgrün department itself cannot provide any budget funds for planting and greening the urban green space.
