New adoption of the prohibition of misappropriation statute

If living space is to be used for anything other than residential purposes, a permit is required.

The city of Erlangen has re-issued the prohibition of misappropriation statute. It makes processes subject to approval in which living space is permanently withdrawn from the housing market. The aim is to return housing that is currently being used for purposes other than its intended purpose to the free housing market.
