The youth welfare offices bear public responsibility for the successful upbringing of children and young people. The Erlangen City Youth Welfare Office is also a major provider of daycare facilities. This includes 16 municipal facilities with crèches, kindergartens, houses for children and after-school care centers.
The "Haus für Kinder Röthelheim 11acht" facility is newly opened and comprises a crèche and kindergarten.

Your tasks:
- Active participation in the establishment of the new facility and further development of the concept
- Planning and implementation of educational work in accordance with the principles of the Bavarian education and upbringing plan
- Education, upbringing and care of children from the age of one until they start school
- Accompanying and supporting the children according to their stage of development with joy and a professional attitude
- Cooperation with parents in the sense of an educational partnership and conducting parent-teacher conferences
- Organizational and documentation tasks
Your profile:
- Completed vocational training as a state-recognized educator or special educator or a degree in social education (FH) or a Bachelor's degree in social work with state recognition as a social educator or training recognized as a pedagogical specialist in accordance with the Bavarian Child Education and Care Act (BayKiBiG)
- Creativity and imagination with regard to the design of educational programs according to the needs of the children
- Enjoy taking on responsibility
- Ability to work independently and in a structured manner and to innovate
- Basic conceptual understanding of participatory work in a team and with the children
