Stadtjugendamt - at the earliest possible date - open-ended - position: EG S 8a TVöD-SuE - working hours: 19.5 to 39 hours/week.
The youth welfare offices bear public responsibility for the successful upbringing of children and young people. The Erlangen City Youth Welfare Office is also a major provider of daycare facilities. These include 15 municipal facilities with crèches, kindergartens, a house for children and after-school care centers.

Your tasks:
- Planning and implementation of educational work in accordance with the principles of the Bavarian Education Plan
- Care, education and upbringing of children of primary school age
- Accompanying and supporting the children, based on their level of development, with joy and a professional attitude
- Support and guidance, including for children with special needs
- Conducting and accompanying parent meetings and projects
Your profile:
- Completed vocational training as a state-recognized educator or remedial teacher or a degree in social education (FH) or a Bachelor's degree in social work or training as a pedagogical specialist recognized under the Bavarian Child Education and Care Act (BayKiBiG)
- Enjoy your profession and working in the field of animal-assisted education
- A sense of responsibility, resilience and the ability to work in a team
- Enjoy working with this age group and an interest in the idea of inclusion
- Strong ability to work in a team
- Basic conceptual understanding of participatory work in a team and with the children
