The youth welfare offices bear public responsibility for the successful upbringing of children and young people. The Erlangen City Youth Welfare Office is also a major provider of daycare facilities. This includes 16 municipal facilities in various parts of the city with crèches, kindergartens, houses for children and after-school care centers, eight of which are integrative facilities.

Your tasks:
- Planning and implementation of educational work in accordance with the principles of the Bavarian education and upbringing plan
- Care, education and upbringing of children of primary school age
- Accompanying and supporting the children according to their level of development with joy and a professional attitude
- Supporting and guiding children with special needs
- Conducting and accompanying parent meetings and projects
- Designing educational work according to our concepts in the diversity of the facilities
- Professional networking and exchange between the daycare centers and in the social area
Your profile:
- Completed vocational training as a state-recognized educator or curative educator or a degree in social education (FH) or a Bachelor's degree in social work with state recognition as a social educator or training recognized as a pedagogical specialist under the Bavarian Child Education and Care Act (BayKiBiG)
- Enjoy your profession and working in the field of animal-assisted education
- A sense of responsibility, resilience and the ability to work in a team
- Enjoy working with this age group and an interest in the idea of inclusion
- Strong ability to work in a team
- Basic conceptual understanding of participatory work in a team and with the children
