The personal assistant serves as the point of contact between the mayor and project managers for the implementation of the City of Erlangen’s overarching municipal goals.

Your responsibilities:
- Supporting the Mayor in all legal and organizational matters, as well as conceptual development of key topics and appropriate controlling systems
- Coordination and organization of complex projects
- Communication and cooperation with associations, the private sector, as well as ministries and other government agencies
- Substantive and organizational preparation of meetings and appointments for the Mayor
Your profile:
- Completed academic university degree (Master’s, Diploma [Univ.]) in the field of administrative sciences, economics, or law, or career qualification for the fourth qualification level of the “Administration and Finance” professional track or career qualification for the third qualification level of the aforementioned specialized field with the ability to pursue modular qualification for the fourth qualification level
- Experience in administrative work, preferably at the local or state government level, as well as experience in project management, is desirable
- Ability to think and act holistically and analytically within complex structures
- An integrative personality with strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as conflict resolution and mediation skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as foreign language proficiency, preferably in English
- Willingness to work outside of regular business hours
