In 2024, the two cities of Erlangen and Rennes will celebrate the 60th anniversary of their town twinning with various anniversary events. Sport will also make a contribution to the anniversary: a group of athletes will cycle from Strasbourg to Rennes from May 18 to May 24. The plan is to cycle to Rennes within a week, so the tour will start in Strasbourg. The journey will take place on May 17th by train and the support vehicle, in which all bikes will be transported to Strasbourg.
