Your Responsibilities:

  • Organizing and running the weekly market, the August market, and the Candlemas market, particularly handling applications and admission procedures
  • Contributing to the further development of event concepts
  • Assisting with financial calculations for the markets within your area of responsibility
  • Public relations for the weekly, August, and Candlemas markets
  • Supporting activities related to the Erlangen Bergkirchweih

Your Profile:

  • Eligibility for the second qualification level of the “Administration and Finance” career track, or completion of vocational training as an administrative assistant or completion of Employee Training Course I (BLI)
  • Knowledge of public procurement law or a willingness to learn it
  • Physical fitness for the described tasks and fieldwork
  • A Class B driver’s license is desirable (please include proof)
  • Strong conflict resolution and communication skills, assertiveness, flexibility, and organizational skills
  • Willingness to work outside of regular business hours and to take vacation time outside of the preparation period and the duration of the Bergkirchweih festival
