Your tasks:

  • Comprehensive advice to citizens on the topics of housing benefit and/or income-oriented support
  • Independent and autonomous processing of applications for housing benefit and/or income-oriented support, in particular checking applications, calculations and issuing notifications
  • Reviewing housing benefit cases in the course of automated data reconciliation, hearing and making any reclaims if necessary
  • Checking EOF households and making any reclaims
  • Processing in accordance with cash law and making payments of current benefits

Your profile:

  • Career qualification for the second qualification level of the "Administration and Finance" career path or completed vocational training as an administrative assistant or successfully completed employee training course I (BL I)
  • Specialist knowledge of the WohnBindG and the EStG, Social Code I and X and administrative regulations is desirable
  • Good IT and MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and a willingness to familiarize yourself with specialist programs
  • Organizational and negotiating skills as well as independence, decisiveness and commitment
  • Mental resilience as well as a citizen-friendly attitude and the ability to work in a team
  • Intercultural competence and good oral and written communication skills; knowledge of English is an advantage
