Your Responsibilities:
- Enforcement of statutes and ordinances under waste management and street cleaning laws, including imposing penalties for violations of waste management laws, drafting letters and official notices, and processing appeals
- Further development of bylaws and ordinances (regarding cleaning areas, cleaning frequency, and general conditions)
- Conducting fee calculations, market research, and procurement procedures
- Public relations work, e.g., by preparing online information, maintaining the waste collection calendar, and handling complaints
- Acting as a substitute for the department head during absences
- Managing recycling container locations (e.g., rescheduling for events or establishing new locations) and compiling statistics and surveys (e.g., preparing the waste balance sheet)
Your Profile:
- Eligibility for the third qualification level of the “Administration and Finance” professional career track or completion of Employee Training Course II (BL II)
- A Class B driver’s license is desirable (please include proof)
- Knowledge of double-entry accounting, business administration, and public administration and fee law is advantageous
- Ability to work independently, willingness to take on responsibility, assertiveness, conflict resolution skills, and a citizen-oriented approach
- Good computer skills and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
