Your tasks:

  • Responsible management and dynamic further development of the department with currently 5 employees
  • Budget, financial and personnel planning for the department as well as controlling

  • Assuming responsibility for complex tax projects and special projects
  • Ensuring the proper fulfillment of the city's tax obligations in the area of VAT and income tax, in particular for commercial enterprises, as well as in the area of donation law
  • Deputizing for the head of department

Your profile:

  • Career qualification for the third qualification level of the "Administration and Finance" career path, preferably with a specialist focus on "Taxes and Public Finance" or successful completion of the Employee Training Course II (BL II) or a degree in business administration or economics (Bachelor's or Diplom (FH)) with a focus on taxes or a degree in tax law (Bachelor's or Diplom (FH))
  • Sound legal knowledge and professional experience in tax law
  • Ability and willingness to motivate, encourage and challenge employees
  • Negotiating skills, decisiveness and persuasiveness as well as reliability and assertiveness
  • Independent, careful and analytical way of working as well as conceptual and economic thinking
