City Finance Department — to be filled as soon as possible — permanent position — Pay grade: EG 11 TVöD or BesGr. A 12 BayBesG — Workweek: 39 or 40 hours/week.

Your Responsibilities:
- Responsible leadership and dynamic development of the department, which currently has 5 employees
- Budget, financial, and personnel planning for the department, as well as controlling
- Handling complex administrative matters, such as making decisions on difficult tax-related issues, policy matters regarding donations, deferral cases, and loan management
- Assuming responsibility for complex tax projects and special initiatives
- Ensuring proper compliance with the city’s tax obligations in the areas of value-added tax and income taxation—particularly for commercial enterprises—as well as in the area of donation law
- Acting as deputy to the department head
Your Profile:
- Eligibility for the third qualification level of the “Administration and Finance” career track, preferably with a specialization in “Taxes and Public Finance” or successful completion of Employee Training Course II (BL II), or a completed university degree in tax law or economics, preferably in the field of taxation (Bachelor’s or Diplom (FH))
- Solid legal knowledge and professional experience in tax law
- Ability and willingness to motivate, support, and challenge employees
- Confidence in negotiations, decisiveness, and persuasiveness, as well as reliability and assertiveness
- An independent, meticulous, and analytical approach to work, combined with conceptual and business-oriented thinking
