Since 2016, Siemens has been building a new district in the south of the city with an
- attractive campus structure
- contemporary buildings
- modern office infrastructure
- Laboratory and research workplaces
- spacious green areas and open spaces for around 20,000 people.
A comprehensive sustainability concept makes the campus a climate-conscious location. The last module will be occupied in 2026. A new urban residential quarter is also being built there. The construction project has an investment volume of around 1 billion euros and covers an area of 54 hectares.
