From 2016 to 2026, the company built a new neighborhood in the southern part of the city. With the completion of Module 8, the project has been finished since July 2026. The total investment amounted to approximately 1 billion euros.

Siemens has built a complex there with

  • an attractive campus layout
  • contemporary buildings
  • modern office infrastructure
  • laboratory and research workstations
  • spacious green spaces and outdoor areas for approximately 20,000 people.

A comprehensive sustainability concept makes the campus a climate-conscious location. The final module was completed in July 2026.

In addition, a new urban residential neighborhood is being developed there. The construction project has an investment volume of approximately 1 billion euros and covers an area of 54 hectares.
