Solar parties in Erlangen
With the help of neighborhood solar parties, the PV expansion in Erlangen is to be promoted in a targeted manner. The motto of a solar party is: "Just come over and take a look at my solar system!" Because anyone thinking about installing a solar system on their roof often has a lot of questions on their mind: Is my roof even suitable? What bureaucratic hurdles will I face? And is the investment worthwhile?
These questions can be asked in a straightforward manner at a solar party in a neighborly setting. The parties are accompanied by ambassadors who support the hosts with their knowledge.

Solar system tour: All guests have the opportunity to view the PV systems up close and be inspired.
Professional expertise: The expert solar ambassador is available to answer any questions and gives a short presentation to provide an overview of the most important information and background, including installation, financing and funding opportunities. There are already over 20 ambassadors in Erlangen who will be happy to support you at your solar party.
Celebrate together and share knowledge: The joy of sustainable energy generation becomes even more valuable with a few appetizers and a stimulating exchange with like-minded people.
Packsdrauf
The solar parties are supported by the city of Erlangen in cooperation with the "packsdrauf" initiative. A good 4,000 people have already taken part in solar parties across Germany. The "packsdrauf" project, initiated by Solarenergie-Förderförderverein Deutschland e.V., was recently awarded the K3 prize for climate communication. The solar parties are intended to help inform people about the opportunity of using solar energy and to simplify their own steps towards using solar energy.
