The Integrative Jugendlernstube Odenwaldallee is a day care center for children aged 10 to school-leaving age. The municipal learning rooms offer children and young people and their families holistic education, individual support and integration as well as advice on special challenges and questions.
The facility has one group and can accommodate a total of 15 children/young people. Three of these are integrative places.
The Integrative Jugendlernstube Odenwaldallee is located in the Büchenbach district of Erlangen, close to the Hermann-Hedenus-Mittelschule and the Realschule Am Europakanal. The Taubenschlag adventure playground is located on the first floor of the building, and there is a large play area and a playground in front of the building. The community center "Die Scheune" is also located in the immediate vicinity.
The facility is the smallest youth learning center in the city of Erlangen whose staff consists mainly of social education specialists. This means that the needs/concerns of the young people and their families can be addressed individually.
The facility has two group rooms and two small rooms on two levels. There is also an office, an open kitchen and two toilets.
Learning for life in various areas such as school, social and practical life skills is the focus of the Integrative Youth Learning Center Odenwaldallee. This is achieved on the one hand in the daily homework and on the other in many everyday situations and projects on specific topics.
School time: Monday to Friday from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Vacation time: Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
