The kindergarten consists of 2 groups offering care, support and education for a total of 35 children aged 3-6 years. Integrative places can also be requested.
Since September 2024, the municipal kindergarten ISAR 14 has complemented the municipal crèche ISAR 12 to form the jointly managed Isarstraße children's home.
The municipal kindergarten ISAR 14 is located in the "Am Anger" area of Erlangen.
The municipal kindergarten ISAR 14 is a small, manageable facility. We work according to a partially open concept.
Each of the two groups has its own group room, which are only connected by an intermediate door. The children also have access to a large multi-purpose room, a quiet room, sanitary facilities and a spacious play corridor. In addition, the facility is surrounded on three sides by its own garden area with a swing, trampoline and sandpit, as well as a utility and experimental garden.
All employees always treat the children as equals. It is particularly important to us to encourage the children individually to become independent personalities. In doing so, we focus on language development and movement, as well as practical everyday skills and encourage the children in social interaction.
