Additional classrooms for the CEG
The KuBiC (Kultur- und Bildungscampus Frankenhof) is currently being developed on the site of the former Frankenhof indoor swimming pool. New classrooms are planned there for the CEG (photo: CEG at Langemarkplatz; Foo: GME/Moritz).
An alternative solution will be implemented until the KuBiC quarter is completed. Six classrooms will be made available for longer-term use in Palais Lyncker at Friedrichstraße 35. These rooms are currently used by the municipal singing and music school. They will become available in the summer as the music school moves to the KuBiC Frankenhof. Palais Lyncker is around 200 meters away from the CEG. It is therefore within walking distance and allows teachers and pupils to move around during the usual break times.

Renovation of specialist rooms at the Fridericianum grammar school
At Gymnasium Fridericianum, the focus is on modernizing the physics and chemistry classrooms. The planned refurbishment measures are necessary to ensure safety and curriculum-compliant teaching. The modernization includes in particular the safety equipment of the specialist rooms. Completion is scheduled for the start of the 2025/2026 school year.
