Sale of other city-owned land

If city-owned properties or (partial) areas are not or no longer required for the fulfillment of municipal tasks, a sale is generally possible, provided that no other interests conflict with this.

Various specialist departments must be involved before such land can be sold, and a decision by the Environment, Transport and Planning Committee or the City Council may also be required.

If you are interested in acquiring a specific area, for example to round off your own property, for gardening purposes, as a parking lot, etc., you can contact the clerks at the Real Estate Office, Land Transactions Department.
