Housing Restrictions for Subsidized Housing; Requirement for a Certificate

Authorized parties/landlords, tenants, and people looking for housing can obtain confirmation that a unit is no longer considered publicly subsidized.

Prospective tenants can also obtain confirmation that a unit is a publicly subsidized unit.

The competent authority must confirm in writing to the person authorized to dispose of the property or the landlord the date as of which the apartment is no longer considered subsidized. Tenants and prospective tenants may also request such confirmation if they can demonstrate a legitimate interest.

Upon request, the competent authority must confirm in writing to a person seeking housing whether the apartment they intend to occupy is a newly created publicly subsidized apartment.
