Income-oriented funding (EOF)
The income-oriented subsidy (= EOF) is an additional subsidy that is granted to tenants of an EOF-subsidized apartment upon application.
Informationen
The EOF benefit is an income-related benefit. There are three income levels. The amount of the EOF benefit depends on the income level in which you are classified. If you exceed the income threshold for level III, you cannot be granted an EOF benefit.
The Housing Department will check your income situation and classify you in the income bracket.
If you require further information or have any questions, please contact us by e-mail at eof@stadt.erlangen.de or by telephone on +49 (0) 9131 / 86 - 3044 or +49 (0) 9131 / 86 - 2978.
Before an EOF benefit can be applied for, an EOF-subsidized apartment must be arranged by the housing agency. An EOF application can only be submitted once such an apartment has been found. The application form required for this will be sent to you automatically upon receipt of the certificate of eligibility for housing.
Please note that not all socially subsidized apartments are also EOF subsidized. Information on whether your apartment is one of these apartments can be obtained from the Housing Department.
EOF is generally granted from the first calendar day of the month in which the application was submitted.
