International Women's Day

...for over 100 years! Many advances have been made during this time thanks to the longstanding commitment of women, queers and men in solidarity. Nevertheless, there is still a lot to be done to break down existing patriarchal structures in society and achieve real equality.

Traditionally, Erlangen's institutions and initiatives as well as the City of Erlangen's Equal Opportunities Office take International Women's Day as an opportunity to organize events and campaigns on a wide range of women's issues.
