Trip to Jena again on October 3

This year, the city of Erlangen is once again organizing a day trip with coaches to the twin city. The Day of German Unity will be celebrated there once again. Registrations are now open.

After light refreshments, the program includes an official welcome with music and dance in the Volkshaus. Linda Teuteberg, Member of the German Bundestag, will give the keynote speech.

After the ceremony, there will be time for your own activities such as

  • taking part in a free guided tour of the city
  • take part in the now legendary pub quiz with "BigKev"
  • attend the vernissage of an exhibition by the Plus Group of the Erlangen Art Association with a concert by the Erlangen and Jena music schools or
  • simply for a get-together with friends and acquaintances.

After an ecumenical prayer service in the town church, there will once again be an invitation to sing goodbye together. The journey home starts at around 18:30.

Information about the bus trip

The tour price of 25 euros includes

  • the bus trip
  • a welcome snack in Jena
  • the free activities on site
  • a small snack for the journey home.

Departure is at 7:30 a.m. from Erlangen bus station. The journey is without a stopover. All buses are equipped with WC. The deadline for registration is Monday, September 16, subject to availability. Places will be allocated on receipt of registration and timely payment of the travel fee.
