The budget speeches in the City Council on January 22 were broadcast.

The City Council met for its first public meeting of the new year on Thursday, January 22, at 4:15 pm. In the council chamber of the town hall (1st floor), the focus was on the 2026 budget. Following the presentation of the key figures by finance officer Konrad Beugel, the meeting also dealt with the staffing plan before Lord Mayor Florian Janik, the parliamentary groups, committee groups and individual city councillors looked at the financial package for the new year.
