Wichtiger Hinweis
Bismarckstraße - Road Resurfacing
Stand: 17.08.2026
From Monday, August 24, through Friday, November 6 (tentatively), Bismarckstraße will be completely closed between Schillerstraße and Luitpoldstraße. Due to scouring at the corner of the roadway, access from the north is already blocked.
The road surface on Bismarckstraße and at Lorlebergplatz is being repaved. The goal is to improve traffic safety and maintain the road network in a sustainable and cost-effective manner. At the same time, the city is taking this opportunity to, for example, ensure that the street drainage system is fully functional.
Safety for pedestrians will be enhanced by two new crosswalk islands north and south of Lorlebergplatz. At the Marquardsenstraße intersection, an area will also be marked on the roadway where pedestrians can wait safely while crossing.
Parking spaces in the Lorlebergplatz roundabout will also be reorganized. Two accessible charging stations for electric vehicles will be installed there. Two parking spaces are designated for car-sharing. The accessible parking spaces will be designed in accordance with current regulations.
