The district council
Every district in Erlangen has its own advisory council. The City Center District Advisory Council represents your interests in the district in the city administration bodies. It can make recommendations and submit proposals on all issues affecting the district. In this way, it contributes to the political decision-making process in city politics. The city council, the responsible committee or the city administration departments must deal with the recommendations and applications within three months.

Sunday shopping enriches the city center
Lively meeting place for locals and guests on the Sunday after Easter. Stores open from 13:00 to 18:00.
A Current: Floods at Schwabach, Regnitz and Aurach
Since mid-February, footpaths and cycle paths have been closed in various places and the "flood barriers" have been closed. This is due to the thaw and the rainfall since then.
Schenkstrasse
Until May 22, one-way traffic will be regulated from west to east. The reason for this is a detour for buses, which cannot travel there due to the full closure of Komotauer Straße, which runs parallel to the road.
