In Erlangen, each neighborhood has its own advisory board. The Downtown Neighborhood Advisory Board represents your interests in the neighborhood within the city administration’s governing bodies. It can make recommendations and submit motions on all issues affecting the neighborhood. In this way, it contributes to the formation of political will in city policy. The City Council, the relevant committee, or the city administration’s departments must address the recommendations and motions within three months.
