Since June, a total of 18 new charging points with 22 kW each have been available for the vehicle fleet on the premises of the municipal greenery, waste management and street cleaning company in Stintzingstraße. An additional charging point for the electric wheel loader has been installed outside. It will go into regular operation at the end of June. This brings the total number of charging points to 29.
The company received a grant of 17,500 euros for the measure. The total expenditure is around 192,000 euros. The grid connection of the company premises had to be increased to 600 kW by Erlanger Stadtwerke for the expansion of the charging infrastructure. In the long term, the construction of a large transformer station is also planned.
And it goes on
The vehicle fleet is constantly being converted to zero-emission and low-emission vehicles. Additional fast charging points with CCS plugs and bilateral charging technology for larger commercial vehicles are therefore already planned for the fall.
