Abokiste and the Hemhofen Castle Estate supply organic food and host an annual farm festival and a Christmas market.
The association advocates for bicycle-friendly transportation policies in Erlangen and Erlangen-Höchstadt, organizes bike tours, and much more.

BildungEvangelisch is an educational institution for adults. It consists of a consortium comprising the Evangelical City Academy, the Evangelical Educational Institute of Erlangen, and the Press and Public Relations Office of the Evangelical Lutheran Deanery of Erlangen. The focus is primarily on educational programs in the areas of “Theology/Philosophy” and “Church and Society.”
BINDUNGsvVERLANGEN was founded in early 2018 by three pediatric nurses. Through courses, workshops, and one-on-one consultations, the organization provides information on attachment- and needs-based parenting.
The Blockhelden bouldering gym offers everything a boulderer could want—from beginner to advanced courses, in individual or group training. After moving to Bubenreuth in 2022, the facility has expanded significantly. Some people refer to the bouldering gym as the “Bouldering Temple.”
The Rupprecht Bookstore was founded in 1988 in the Upper Palatinate and remains an owner-operated bookstore with 53 locations. Since 2025, Rupprecht Bookstore has once again had a presence in Erlangen and, through numerous events, has evolved from a place to buy books into a cultural gathering spot.

The Health Education Center at the Dreycedern Association is an information, counseling, and educational facility primarily for people in the second half of their lives and their family members. The association provides counseling, shares knowledge, and offers support for health issues.

The Erlangen Symphony Orchestra (formerly the Erlangen Chamber Orchestra (EKO)) was founded by dedicated amateur musicians from Erlangen and enriches Erlangen’s cultural life with its concerts. Throughout the year, the Erlangen Symphony Orchestra presents various concerts throughout the city of Erlangen. For these performances, the musicians prepare musical works ranging from the Renaissance to the modern era.
