BildungEvangelisch is an adult education institution. It is a merger of the Evangelische Stadtakademie, the Evangelisches Bildungswerk Erlangen, and the Press and Public Relations Office of the Evangelical Lutheran Deanery of Erlangen. The focus is primarily on educational programs in the areas of “Theology/Philosophy” and “Church and Society.”
BINDUNGsvERLANGEN was founded in early 2018 by three pediatric nurses. Through courses, workshops, and individual consultations, the organization provides information on attachment- and needs-based parenting.
The Blockhelden bouldering gym offers everything a boulderer could want, from beginner to advanced courses, in individual or group training. Following the move to Bubenreuth in 2022, the facility has expanded significantly. The bouldering gym is often referred to by some as the great “bouldering temple.”
Rupprecht Bookstore was founded in 1988 in the Upper Palatinate and remains an owner-operated bookstore with 53 locations. Since 2025, Rupprecht Bookstore has once again been represented in Erlangen and, through numerous events, has evolved from a place to buy books into a cultural gathering spot.

The Health Education Center at the Dreycedern Association is an information, counseling, and educational facility primarily for people in the second half of their lives and their families. The association provides counseling, shares knowledge, and offers support for health issues.

The Erlangen Symphony Orchestra (formerly the Erlangen Chamber Orchestra (EKO)) was founded by dedicated amateur musicians from Erlangen and enriches the city’s cultural life with its concerts. Throughout the year, the Erlangen Symphony Orchestra presents various concerts throughout the city of Erlangen. For these performances, the musicians prepare musical works ranging from the Renaissance to the modern era.

The Erlangen Yoga School (YES) offers yoga classes for beginners and advanced students in classical Hatha yoga, as well as private yoga sessions and yoga for pregnant women and new mothers.
