Herzogenauracher Street

From Wednesday, September 16, through Wednesday, October 14 (tentatively), Herzogenauracher Straße will be completely closed between the intersection with Pappenheimer Straße and the junction with Karl-May-Straße. Drivers are advised to use Niederndorfer Straße.

The closure is due to construction work on the six-lane expansion of the A3 highway between the Biebelried and Fürth/Erlangen interchanges. The Aurachtal Bridge (BW 378a) was rebuilt there. In the next phase of the project, the original route of Herzogenauracher Straße in the area of the Aurachtal Bridge will be restored. Read more: A3 Nordbayern GmbH & Co. KG
