Jobcenter: Current availability - Performance

You can use our contact form to inform us of your request or submit documents. Alternatively, you can still drop documents in the town hall letterbox (address: City of Erlangen, Erlangen Jobcenter - Benefits Department, 553) and contact us by e-mail(jobcenter-leistung@stadt.erlangen.de).

The Citizen's Allowance department (cash benefits) can be reached via the hotline.

Service times of the hotline from 01.09.2025:
Monday: 10:00 - 12:00 and 14:00 - 16:00
Tuesday: 08:00 - 10:00 a.m.
Thursday: 08:00 - 10:00 a.m.
Friday: 08:00 - 12:00

The contact persons in the benefits department can be reached by telephone on Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Please use the file number that you last received in a letter or notification to find the right contact person. You can still reach the hotline outside these times.

Personal consultations without an appointment are not possible.
You can book an appointment online. To do this, click on "Make an appointment" below.

Please note that we have a very high number of applications. At the same time, there is a lack of staff. This is why processing is taking longer at the moment. You can help us by submitting applications early, refraining from asking about the status and submitting complete documents.
