Yesterday, three representatives of the student council of Marie-Therese Gymnasium, together with principal Armin Kolb, his deputy Sascha Knoll and teacher Ulrike Michael, handed over their donation for Browary to Lord Mayor Florian Janik. The pupils collected the donation of 1,700 euros from the proceeds of their school summer party and a reading evening. The Marie-Therese-Gymnasium is thus continuing its tradition of supporting a school in Erlangen's solidarity partnership Browary with the proceeds from the summer festival.
Lord Mayor Florian Janik expressed his thanks for the commitment of the municipal school, which has made a conscious decision to continue its support for Ukraine and thus not lose sight of the war raging there despite multiple other crises. The money will benefit the Lyceum N11, which will be used to finance the equipment of a shelter for the school. This will make it possible for pupils in Browary to attend classes even during the war.
