Erlangen is growing and we are growing with it. The playrooms are kindergartens for individual development and educational support. They are part of the Erlangen Youth Welfare Office's services to strengthen families. They support children in a wide range of life situations to develop well, find their own way and use their talents and strengths.

Your tasks:
- Planning and individual support of children on the basis of the Bavarian education and upbringing plan in accordance with the Bavarian Child Education and Care Act (BayKiBiG) and the framework concept of the playrooms
- Supporting children in small groups or individually, especially for children with special needs as part of integration assistance
- Creating an intensive and trusting educational partnership with parents
- Cooperation and networking with predecessor and follow-up facilities, in particular family education facilities and the learning rooms in the district, with schools and specialist youth welfare services as well as external representation of the facility of the municipal youth welfare office
- Organizational and documentation tasks
Your profile:
- Completed vocational training as a state-recognized educator or comparable vocational training with recognition as a specialist or completed studies as a graduate social pedagogue (FH) or Bachelor of Social Work with state recognition or comparable degree with recognition as a specialist in a child day care facility
- Creativity and inventiveness with regard to the design of educational programs
- Skills in integrative work and in working with children with special needs
- Basic conceptual understanding of participatory work in a team and with children
- Strong teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and in a structured manner as well as the ability to innovate
