Meetings of municipal bodies such as committees, advisory boards or the city council are open to the public. Everyone has access. Exception: if

• the interests of the general public or the legitimate
• justified claims of individual persons

conflict with this.

You can find out which committee will be meeting in the next few days and which topics will be discussed online in the council information system.

The Mayor's Office and Press Office would like to point out that members of the public are very welcome to attend. However, the meetings may not be disturbed. Neither the town hall, the council chamber nor other meeting rooms are places for political rallies, banners or similar. If the maximum number of visitors is reached in the council chamber, access will no longer be granted, but a sound broadcast will be set up in the foyer.

Free bus travel in the city center

Since January 1, 2024, it has been "free travel" on all bus lines within the free city center area of Erlangen. No ticket is required.
