Erlangen City Archives at Open Monument Day

As it does every year, Open Monument Day invites people across Germany to discover historic sites and monuments. This year’s theme is “NetzWERKE: Monuments & Infrastructure.” The Erlangen City Archives will also open its doors to visitors on this day, offering a glimpse into the institution’s normally closed storage areas.

Guided Tour: “The City’s Memory—Cultural Infrastructure and Knowledge Network”
at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. | The number of participants per tour is limited to a maximum of 20 people.

In addition, visitors can view the current exhibition “What Could They Do? Resistance Against National Socialism 1939–1945” in the reading room.
