The general energy price subsidy is intended to help sports and shooting clubs to maintain their sports operations and their range of sports despite increased energy costs.
Stand: 04.04.2024. Link zum BayernPortal
Informationen
The general energy price subsidy is intended to cushion energy price-related additional costs incurred by sports and shooting clubs through the use of club-owned sports facilities or also through increased usage fees (as a result of increased energy prices) for the use of third-party sports facilities. In particular, the closure of sports facilities due to increased energy costs is to be prevented.
Funding is also provided for additional costs incurred by clubs in the operation of accompanying infrastructure (e.g. club restaurants).
The amount of the grant corresponds to the difference in the additional costs actually incurred in 2023 compared to 2021 due to the increase in energy prices, up to a maximum of 80% of the simple club lump sum for the 2023 funding year.
The general energy price subsidy can only be awarded to associations that receive an association lump sum in the 2023 funding year.
In addition, the association must have actually incurred additional energy-related costs in 2023 compared to the reference year 2021.
Application
The application for a general energy price subsidy must be submitted to the competent district administrative authority.
Payment
The energy price subsidy is paid out as a lump sum, without further proof or checks, in full (80% of the simple association lump sum 2023) together with the association lump sum 2023.
Proof of use and offsetting against the 2024 association lump sum
The actual additional energy costs must be subsequently verified by 30.04.2024 at the latest by submitting suitable documents (e.g. annual invoice) to the responsible district administrative authority.
- If the proven actual additional energy costs are higher than the subsidy paid out, the subsidy paid out remains with the applicant association in full.
- If the subsidy paid out is higher than the proven actual additional energy costs, the association's 2024 lump sum will be reduced by the excess subsidy paid.
- If no additional energy costs are proven by 30.04.2024, the association's 2024 lump sum will be reduced by the full amount of the subsidy paid out.
The application could be submitted until 15.05.2023. Applications received after this date cannot be considered.
