Agricultural Game Farming; Notification of the Establishment, Expansion, and Operation of an Animal Enclosure

Anyone who wishes to establish, expand, or operate an enclosure for fallow deer, red deer, sika deer, or mouflon must notify the relevant district office (district administrative authority) in accordance with the Animal Welfare Act and the Bavarian Nature Conservation Act.

For enclosures larger than 10 ha, a hunting permit from the district administration office is also required.
